Job Overview:
The Chemistry Teacher (Secondary Section) will be responsible for delivering high-quality chemistry lessons to students, fostering a deep understanding of scientific concepts, and inspiring a passion for the subject. The ideal candidate must be an experienced educator with strong subject knowledge and a commitment to student success. The role requires adherence to KHDA guidelines and the ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Instruction:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive Chemistry lessons for (Secondary Section) students.
- Develop lesson plans that align with the school curriculum and KHDA educational standards.
- Utilize innovative teaching methodologies, practical demonstrations, and technology to enhance student learning.
- Assess, evaluate, and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and projects.
- Provide additional support and guidance to students needing extra assistance.
Classroom Management:
- Establish and maintain a structured, disciplined, and positive learning environment.
- Implement classroom management strategies to promote student engagement and respect.
- Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning among students.
Student Mentorship & Development:
- Identify and address individual student learning needs and provide necessary academic support.
- Foster a passion for Chemistry through hands-on experiments, research projects, and real-world applications.
- Prepare students for assessments, competitions, and further studies in the subject.
Parental Engagement & Communication:
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and school events as required.
Professional Development & Compliance:
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Chemistry education and teaching strategies.
- Ensure compliance with KHDA regulations and maintain accurate academic records.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development programs to enhance teaching skills.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
- B.Ed. is mandatory (applications without this qualification will not be considered).
Experience:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role (mandatory).
Preferred Criteria:
- Candidates with Spouse/Own Visa are preferred (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of Chemistry curriculum and best teaching practices.
