Job Overview:
The Hindi Teacher – Afternoon Session (Middle Section) will be responsible for teaching Hindi language and literature to students in the middle school grades. The role involves building proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and grammar, while fostering a deeper understanding of Hindi culture and literary appreciation. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, well-organized, and experienced in delivering age-appropriate content as per the CBSE curriculum and KHDA educational guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Instruction & Curriculum Delivery:
- Plan and deliver structured Hindi lessons focused on grammar, composition, reading comprehension, literature, and oral skills.
- Follow the CBSE curriculum and ensure alignment with KHDA requirements.
- Introduce students to a variety of texts including stories, poems, essays, and plays to enhance language and literary appreciation.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor language development and conceptual understanding.
Student Engagement & Language Development:
- Encourage active participation through storytelling, creative writing, drama, and recitation.
- Promote a classroom environment where students can confidently express themselves in Hindi.
- Provide additional academic support to students who need language reinforcement.
Classroom Management & Inclusivity:
- Maintain a positive and well-structured classroom environment.
- Apply effective classroom management strategies to promote discipline, focus, and collaborative learning.
- Create lesson plans that address varied learning styles and student needs.
Parental Communication & Collaboration:
- Communicate regularly with parents about student performance, progress, and suggestions for improvement.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, Hindi exhibitions, and cultural programs.
Professional Development & Compliance:
- Stay informed about Hindi language teaching trends, new CBSE resources, and pedagogical innovations.
- Ensure full compliance with KHDA regulations and institutional policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to interdisciplinary activities and school-wide language initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
- B.Ed. is mandatory (applications without this qualification will not be considered).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hindi, Education, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar teaching role at the middle school level (mandatory).
- Experience in a CBSE curriculum school is preferred.
Visa Status:
- Candidates with Spouse Visa, Own Visa, or Employment Visa are preferred.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong proficiency in Hindi grammar, literature, and instructional strategies.
- Ability to create a culturally rich and linguistically stimulating classroom environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
