Job Overview:
The KG Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the academic and operational aspects of the kindergarten section, ensuring a high-quality early childhood education experience. This role requires strong leadership skills, hands-on teaching experience, and a passion for fostering a nurturing learning environment. The ideal candidate should be able to support and guide KG teachers, implement best practices in early childhood education, and ensure compliance with KHDA standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Supervision and Curriculum Implementation:
- Oversee the development and execution of the KG curriculum, ensuring alignment with KHDA guidelines.
- Monitor and assess teaching methodologies, classroom management, and student engagement strategies.
- Guide teachers in creating interactive and child-friendly lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Ensure the implementation of age-appropriate teaching techniques and resources.
Teacher Training and Development:
- Provide mentorship and professional development sessions for KG teachers.
- Conduct periodic evaluations to assess teacher performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation in early childhood education.
Student Welfare and Classroom Management:
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for young learners.
- Monitor student progress and collaborate with teachers to implement intervention strategies where necessary.
- Ensure child safety and well-being by enforcing health, hygiene, and behavior management policies.
Parental Engagement and Communication:
- Establish and maintain strong communication with parents regarding student progress, curriculum updates, and school policies.
- Organize parent-teacher meetings and workshops to enhance parental involvement in early education.
- Address parental concerns and inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
Administrative and Compliance Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to KHDA regulations and maintain all necessary documentation.
- Support the school leadership in policy-making, strategic planning, and overall kindergarten management.
- Oversee student enrollment, placement, and transition processes.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (mandatory).
- B.Ed. is mandatory (applications without this qualification will not be considered).
Experience:
- At least 2–3 years of hands-on teaching experience in a kindergarten (mandatory).
- Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role within an early childhood education setting.
Preferred Criteria:
- Candidates with Spouse/Own Visa are preferred (mandatory).
- Familiarity with KHDA requirements and educational standards in Dubai.
