MSCS Teacher
Overview
As an MSCS Teacher, you’ll guide middle-grade students through their formative years by fostering ethical reasoning, emotional intelligence and a strong moral compass. Your lessons will promote values such as honesty, empathy and resilience, in line with CBSE standards and KHDA guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Value-Based Instruction & Curriculum Delivery
- Teach structured lessons on honesty, empathy, respect, perseverance, resilience, leadership and digital responsibility
- Use storytelling, moral dilemmas, discussions and reflection activities to deepen ethical understanding
- Align content with the CBSE values curriculum and KHDA requirements
- Design assessments—reflective journals, participation rubrics and projects—to measure character growth
- Student Engagement & Emotional Growth
- Support development of interpersonal skills and healthy coping strategies
- Encourage involvement in community service, value campaigns and leadership programs
- Create a nurturing environment that builds confidence, collaboration and emotional maturity
- Classroom Management & Inclusivity
- Maintain a respectful, inclusive and empathetic classroom culture
- Apply positive behavior reinforcement and effective conflict-resolution techniques
- Adapt materials and activities to accommodate diverse learning and emotional needs
- Parental Communication & Collaboration
- Partner with parents to reinforce values at home and share insights on student development
- Participate in parent–teacher meetings, workshops and student showcases
- Professional Development & Compliance
- Stay current on CBSE value-education frameworks and KHDA regulations
- Attend training on emotional well-being and behavior management
- Keep documentation ready for KHDA inspections
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education
- B.Ed. (mandatory)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Education, Psychology, Counseling or a related field
- Experience
- 2–3 years teaching moral science, life skills or related subjects at the middle-school level
- Experience with the CBSE curriculum is preferred
- Visa Status
- Candidates holding a Spouse, Employment or their own visa will be prioritized
