Science Teacher – Morning Session (Middle Section)

Job Overview:

The Science Teacher – Morning Session (Middle Section) will be responsible for delivering engaging and concept-driven science lessons that promote curiosity, scientific inquiry, and critical thinking. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Science at the foundational level, using interactive methods that align with the CBSE curriculum and KHDA regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

Academic Instruction & Curriculum Delivery:

  • Plan and conduct structured, age-appropriate science lessons in line with the CBSE curriculum for middle school students.
  • Cover core scientific concepts across Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Studies.
  • Incorporate visual aids, models, videos, and practical activities to explain complex scientific principles.
  • Create assessments (quizzes, assignments, lab reports, and projects) to evaluate and track student learning.

Hands-On Learning & Inquiry:

  • Promote inquiry-based learning and problem-solving through simple experiments and demonstrations.
  • Encourage student exploration, hypothesis building, and critical analysis during lessons.
  • Help students understand the relevance of science in everyday life and modern technology.

Classroom Management & Inclusivity:

  • Establish and maintain a safe, positive, and well-managed learning environment.
  • Ensure safety standards are followed during any science-related practical work.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support the diverse needs of students with varying abilities.

Parental Communication & Collaboration:

  • Communicate with parents regarding student performance, strengths, and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings, science fairs, and school events.

Professional Development & Compliance:

  • Keep up to date with emerging trends in science education and CBSE updates.
  • Ensure full compliance with KHDA regulations and school operational policies.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers for cross-curricular learning and STEM initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

  • B.Ed. is mandatory (applications without this qualification will not be considered).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Education, or a relevant scientific field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching science at the middle school level (mandatory).
  • Experience in a CBSE curriculum school is preferred.

Visa Status:

  • Candidates with Spouse Visa, Own Visa, or Employment Visa are preferred.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong knowledge of core scientific concepts and inquiry-based teaching methods.
  • Ability to make science engaging, accessible, and applicable to real-world situations.
  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and lesson planning skills.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and multimedia tools in science teaching.
  • Passion for STEM education and hands-on learning.
