Job Overview:
The Hindi Teacher (Primary Section) will be responsible for delivering high-quality Hindi language instruction, fostering linguistic proficiency, and cultivating a deep appreciation for the language and its cultural significance. The ideal candidate must have strong subject knowledge, innovative teaching methodologies, and the ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. This role requires adherence to KHDA guidelines and a commitment to student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Instruction:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured Hindi language lessons for (Primary Section) students.
- Develop lesson plans that align with the school curriculum and KHDA educational standards.
- Use storytelling, interactive exercises, audiovisual aids, and technology to enhance student learning.
- Assess, evaluate, and track student progress through assignments, projects, and exams.
- Provide extra support to students who need additional assistance in Hindi.
Classroom Management:
- Maintain an organized, disciplined, and encouraging learning environment.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure active student participation.
- Foster a love for the Hindi language through literature, poetry, creative writing, and speaking exercises.
Student Mentorship & Development:
- Identify and address individual student learning needs and provide necessary guidance.
- Encourage students to participate in Hindi debates, storytelling sessions, and cultural activities.
- Prepare students for assessments, competitions, and further academic growth in Hindi.
Parental Engagement & Communication:
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and achievements.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and academic workshops.
Professional Development & Compliance:
- Stay updated with innovative Hindi teaching strategies, linguistic advancements, and educational trends.
- Ensure compliance with KHDA regulations and maintain accurate student records.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development programs to enhance teaching effectiveness.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
- B.Ed. is mandatory (applications without this qualification will not be considered).
Experience:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role (mandatory).
Preferred Criteria:
- Candidates with Spouse/Own Visa are preferred (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of Hindi language curriculum, grammar, and best teaching practices.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong subject knowledge with the ability to make Hindi learning engaging and relevant.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in classroom management and student engagement strategies.
