Job Description: Physics Teacher – Secondary Section (Afternoon Session)
Job Overview:
The Physics Teacher – Afternoon Session (Secondary Section) will be responsible for delivering structured, exam-oriented instruction in Physics based on the CBSE curriculum. The teacher will focus on conceptual clarity, application-based learning, and thorough board exam preparation, while complying with KHDA regulations. The role demands strong subject expertise, interactive teaching skills, and effective classroom management.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Instruction & Curriculum Delivery:
- Teach secondary-level Physics topics such as mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, optics, and modern physics in alignment with CBSE guidelines.
- Develop engaging lesson plans, practical demonstrations, and lab-based experiments to support theory with hands-on learning.
- Prepare students rigorously for CBSE board exams with mock tests, sample papers, and revision modules.
- Integrate digital tools, simulations, and multimedia to make abstract concepts accessible and relatable.
Student Engagement & Skill Development:
- Foster scientific curiosity and inquiry-based learning through projects, experiments, and science competitions.
- Support students with varying academic levels through differentiated teaching and extra sessions.
- Promote analytical thinking and problem-solving through classroom discussions and group work.
Classroom Management & Inclusivity:
- Maintain a respectful, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Ensure lab safety protocols are followed during experiments.
- Address diverse learning needs with inclusive teaching practices.
Parental Communication & Collaboration:
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding academic performance and student conduct.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school exhibitions, and science-related events.
Professional Development & Compliance:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest CBSE curriculum updates and board exam trends.
- Ensure compliance with KHDA regulations and school academic policies.
- Collaborate with fellow science educators to align interdisciplinary STEM initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- B.Ed. is mandatory (applications without this qualification will not be considered)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Education, or a related scientific discipline
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching secondary-level Physics in a CBSE school
- Candidates with Spouse Visa, Own Visa, or Employment Visa are preferred
