Job Description: Art Teacher
Job Overview:
The Art Teacher will be responsible for guiding students in exploring and expressing their creativity through a variety of visual art forms. This includes teaching drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media in alignment with CBSE curriculum and KHDA educational standards. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing, inspiring classroom environment that celebrates imagination and artistic expression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver structured and engaging art lessons across various mediums including drawing, painting, crafts, sculpture, and mixed media.
- Teach foundational concepts such as color theory, design elements, visual composition, and storytelling through art.
- Encourage individual creativity and expression through thoughtfully designed classroom projects.
- Maintain a safe, well-equipped, and inclusive art classroom conducive to exploration and learning.
- Evaluate student work, provide constructive feedback, and prepare students for internal and external exhibitions or competitions.
- Collaborate with other subject departments to plan interdisciplinary projects and display student artwork in common areas.
- Keep up to date with current trends in art education and ensure compliance with KHDA and CBSE curriculum expectations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or a related discipline.
- B.Ed. is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE curriculum school.
Visa Status:
- Candidates with Spouse Visa, Own Visa, or Employment Visa are preferred.

- Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
