Job Description: Physics Teacher
Job Overview:
The Physics Teacher will be responsible for teaching advanced physics topics aligned with the CBSE curriculum, preparing students for board examinations, and fostering analytical thinking and scientific inquiry. The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in physics, experience in secondary-level instruction, and the ability to present complex concepts in an accessible and engaging way, while ensuring compliance with KHDA regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Instruction & Curriculum Delivery:
- Teach structured lessons in physics, covering key areas such as electricity, magnetism, mechanics, thermodynamics, optics, and modern physics.
- Prepare students for CBSE board examinations and relevant competitive tests.
- Design comprehensive lesson plans that incorporate theory, real-life applications, and laboratory experiments.
- Use simulations, interactive tools, and lab equipment to reinforce conceptual understanding.
- Create and assess assignments, tests, and lab reports.
Student Engagement & Skill Development:
- Foster scientific reasoning, inquiry, and critical thinking among students.
- Guide learners in conducting practicals and analyzing experimental outcomes.
- Offer remedial sessions and differentiated instruction to meet varied learning needs.
Classroom Management & Inclusivity:
- Maintain a focused, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
- Ensure that all laboratory safety protocols and school rules are followed.
- Adapt instruction to cater to a diverse student population.
Parental Communication & Collaboration:
- Communicate student progress and academic development with parents on a regular basis.
- Actively participate in parent-teacher meetings, science fairs, and other STEM-related school events.
Professional Development & Compliance:
- Stay current with CBSE curriculum updates, board exam formats, and KHDA policies.
- Participate in professional development sessions and contribute to collaborative projects within the science faculty.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- B.Ed. is mandatory (applications without this qualification will not be considered).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Education, or a related scientific discipline.
Experience:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching physics at the secondary level in a CBSE-affiliated school.
Visa Status:
- Candidates with Spouse Visa, Own Visa, or Employment Visa are preferred.
