Overview
As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging, hands-on lessons to primary students, building foundational knowledge in biology, physics and chemistry while sparking curiosity about the natural world. Your instruction will simplify complex concepts, align with the CBSE curriculum and comply with KHDA standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Academic Instruction & Curriculum Delivery
- Plan and teach interactive lessons on basic biology, physics and chemistry
- Align lesson plans with CBSE benchmarks and KHDA requirements
- Use visual aids, simple experiments, models and storytelling to illustrate concepts
- Conduct formative and summative assessments to monitor understanding
- Student Engagement & Inquiry-Based Learning
- Encourage inquiry by guiding students to explore ideas through observation and questioning
- Promote hands-on activities, classroom projects and real-life applications
- Cultivate critical thinking, observation and reasoning skills
- Classroom Management & Environment
- Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom
- Manage behavior with positive reinforcement and structured routines
- Adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs and abilities
- Parental Communication & Collaboration
- Keep parents updated on academic progress and support needs
- Participate in parent–teacher meetings, science exhibitions and school events
- Professional Development & Compliance
- Stay current on modern science teaching techniques and curriculum updates
- Ensure full compliance with KHDA regulations and school policies
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education
- B.Ed. (mandatory)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Science, Education or a related field
- Experience
- 2–3 years of primary-level science teaching experience
- Experience in a CBSE curriculum school is preferred
- Visa Status
- Preference for candidates holding a Spouse, Employment or their own visa

- Strong grasp of foundational scientific principles
- Ability to make science fun, interactive and developmentally appropriate
- Excellent communication, classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Creativity in designing experiments and visual learning tools
