“Strong readers begin with strong foundations.”
Gulf Indian High School conducted an enriching Training & Development Session on Phonemics for our KG teachers, led by our Principal/School Director, Dr. S. Reshma.
The session equipped educators with effective strategies to nurture early language development, listening skills, phonemic awareness, and reading readiness among young learners. It highlighted the importance of building strong literacy foundations from the early years, helping children gain confidence in decoding sounds, communicating clearly, and developing a lifelong love for learning.
When educators strengthen their knowledge, children benefit through more meaningful, engaging, and confident learning experiences.
Every sound mastered today builds a stronger foundation for tomorrow’s success.
At GIHS, we believe that investing in teachers means investing in every child’s future.
