Job Overview:
The Arabic Teacher – Morning Session (Middle Section) will be responsible for delivering structured and interactive Arabic language lessons to students in the middle grades. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in Modern Standard Arabic, experienced in language instruction, and capable of teaching grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and oral fluency. The role involves promoting a deeper appreciation of Arabic culture and literature while aligning with the MOE curriculum and KHDA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Instruction & Curriculum Delivery:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver Arabic lessons covering grammar, reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Follow the MOE curriculum and ensure compliance with KHDA guidelines for Arabic language instruction.
- Teach age-appropriate Arabic literature, including short stories, poems, and informational texts.
- Assess student performance through classwork, homework, quizzes, and oral language tasks.
Student Engagement & Language Development:
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages language use and expression.
- Use interactive activities, audio-visual aids, and real-life examples to enhance learning.
- Provide individualized support to students at varying levels of language proficiency.
Classroom Management & Inclusivity:
- Maintain a well-disciplined, inclusive, and culturally respectful classroom.
- Implement classroom routines and strategies that support active participation and collaboration.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
Parental Communication & Collaboration:
- Maintain communication with parents to provide updates on student progress, behavior, and language development.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, Arabic language exhibitions, and school-wide cultural events.
Professional Development & Compliance:
- Stay updated with MOE curriculum updates and effective Arabic teaching practices.
- Ensure all teaching practices are aligned with KHDA regulatory standards and inspection readiness.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular projects and Arabic language initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Arabic Education, or a related field (mandatory).
- Teaching certification or B.Ed. is preferred for non-native Arabic speakers.
Experience:
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a similar role at the middle school level (mandatory).
- Experience with MOE curriculum schools is preferred.
Visa Status:
- Candidates with Spouse Visa, Own Visa, or Employment Visa are preferred.
