Job Overview:
The KG Assistant Teacher plays a supportive and nurturing role in early childhood classrooms, working closely with the KG Teacher to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for young learners. This position requires a caring individual who is passionate about early childhood education, patient, and capable of engaging children in age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Support & Teaching Assistance:
- Assist the main KG Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Support children in learning through play, structured activities, songs, storytelling, and creative arts.
- Help maintain an organized and engaging classroom environment.
- Provide individualized attention to children needing additional support.
Child Supervision & Well-being:
- Supervise children during classroom activities, playtime, snack breaks, and toileting routines.
- Ensure the safety, hygiene, and comfort of all students at all times.
- Observe and report any unusual behavior, learning difficulty, or health concerns to the KG Teacher or supervisor.
Behavior & Social Development:
- Support the development of positive social skills, cooperation, and respect among children.
- Encourage students to communicate, share, and participate actively in group settings.
Classroom Preparation & Cleanliness:
- Help with preparing teaching materials, setting up activities, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Ensure that classroom resources are ready, safe, and well-maintained.
Parental Interaction & Team Collaboration:
- Occasionally assist in communicating with parents during pick-up and drop-off or events.
- Work collaboratively with KG staff and administration for smooth classroom functioning.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
- High school diploma is mandatory.
- CACHE Level 2 or 3, Montessori Certification, or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience working in a kindergarten or early childhood classroom setting.
Visa Status:
- Candidates with Spouse Visa, Own Visa, or Employment Visa are preferred.
Skills & Attributes:

- Ability to follow instructions from lead teachers and school administration.
