Job Title: School Doctor

Job Overview:

The School Doctor will be responsible for safeguarding the health and well-being of students and staff by providing high-quality medical care, first aid, and health-related guidance within the school setting. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe and healthy school environment, managing emergencies, and ensuring compliance with all UAE health and safety regulations, including DHA and KHDA standards.

Key Responsibilities: Medical Care & Emergency Response:

1. Provide immediate medical care and first aid for students and staff during school hours.
2. Manage and respond to health emergencies and injuries on campus.
3. Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students.

Health Monitoring & Prevention:

1. Monitor students for signs of communicable diseases or chronic conditions.
2. Conduct health screenings and support vaccination programs in coordination with health authorities.
3. Promote hygiene awareness, nutrition, and health education in the school community.

Regulatory Compliance & Safety:

1. Ensure that the school clinic operates in compliance with DHA regulations.
2. Maintain and regularly update medical supplies and equipment.
3. Prepare and submit health reports as required by KHDA and DHA.

Parental & Staff Communication:

1. Communicate with parents regarding student health concerns and emergencies.
2. Advise staff on managing student medical needs, allergies, or chronic conditions.
3. Participate in wellness and safety committees as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education & Certification:

1. Valid DHA License to practice as a medical doctor in the UAE (mandatory)

Experience:

1. Minimum 2–3 years of medical experience in a school or pediatric setting (mandatory)

4. Familiarity with school health regulations and emergency protocols
